So... here I am, sitting at my computer, wondering where the heck I start with this blogging thing! Now... don't get me wrong... I am generally pretty good with words... BUT blogging kind of scares the pants off me! I thought that to start... I should probably introduce myself. 

I am Claire. The face and name behind Olive Tree Photography. I have been a photographer for well... gosh how old am I?? Lol ok so I pleed the 5th on that one... so lets just say I've been a photographer for awhile now ;) I have worked for big corporations and obviously now for myself. I work with a beautifully talented team of people in both a hair & makeup capacity as well as other photographers that I employ as second shooters / assistants etc. I am so grateful to have such amazing people in my life!

I don't have a lot of photos taken of me... cos well... I prefer being behind the lens! But hopefully I can find something! I'm sure I have a few selfies lying around!

Ok... so there I am! Fairly bad selfie for a photographer! Haha... well I am in the process of organising a session with my lovely friend Chauntelle.

So... a little about me! I am a single mum to a beautiful nearly 10 yr old girl Sophie. Please see below. She is my inspiration and the reason I do everything that I do. Now... we have our challenges... I mean, she is a mini me after all... but ultimately I wouldn't have it any other way. I am a busy single mum... not only do I own and run this business, but I do some nannying work on the side... which keeps me rather busy! But honestly speaking... Photography is what i want to do full time... and I am working hard to achieve that!

So... enough about me... I'm sure you are over reading about me and I can tell you now that I am over writing about me!! Stay tuned for more exciting blog posts as I continue to learn all about this little thing they call 'Blogging'
