Step one: Booking your session
Decided that it's time to get some authentic images for your brand... or needing an overdue update so your clients can really connect with you? Perfect! The hardest part is already done! Next... get in touch with me and I will give you a call to discuss you, your brand and what you envision for your session. W'll chat about what makes you spark, your favourite colours and even your favourite places to hang out... and this will all go into the planning for your session!
So... say for instance, you're an author who write most of your work in coffee shops near the beach. We'll organise to do your session, with your laptop, a coffee and your favourite place! We'll chat about what truly makes you and your business who you are... because it's so important to capture that in your session so you can clearly communicate your message to your potential clients & customers.
Do you want headshots? Social Media images? Content images? Images for marketing and brochures? product photography? Or a combination? Where is it that your business is currently lacking or needing an update?
Then we'll decide what time and date works best for your session, and whether you'd like studio style portraits or on location.
Once we have all this information on the table, we'll lock in your session and I'll send through your invoice. Invoices are payable immediately and your session is not secure until this has been paid in full.
Step two: Before your session
Before your actual session date, you'll receive a questinonaire via email to fill out. This gives me a lot of the information we've discussed in one easy place, and gets you thinking about the session you'd like to have.
In the lead up, have a think about things that will really help you and your business stand out from the crowd. If you wear a particular thing while meeting with clients, bring it along. If essential oils are a big part of who you are, make sure you have some on hand! If your 'signature look' is a scarf... make sure you have it ready! This is where you can piece together who you truly are and what you want to encompass in your session.
Step three: Day of your session
The time is here, and you're possibly feeling a little nervous. Don't worry though, because I've got your back! If you've decided to get professional hair and makeup done for your session (this is an extra add on service so lets chat about this during our initial call!) then you'll be heading to the HMUA about 2 hours before your session. This ensures there is plenty of time to get the style and look you want, without rushing or potentially being late to your session!
Once you're ready to rock and roll, you'll head over to the location or studio and we'll get cracking!
Depending on the branding package you've purchased, sessions take between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Corporate shoots can take longer depending on the amount of staff needing to be photographed. During this time, we'll have lots of laughs, some crazy faces and a really good time. You're welcome to bring someone along to be behind the scenes to help you feel at ease if you like.
Once we've captured the magic that is you... we'll lock in a time approximately 2 weeks after your session for you to come back to the studio for your design session and view your beautiful images on the big screen! This is where we'll choose your images!
Step four: Your design session
Branding sessions are a little different to portrait sessions. Your packages are already chosen when you book, so this is where you'll chose the images from your package. You also have the opportunity here to design and order some beautiful products like canvass, wood & metal art, to display in your home, at your office or anywhere really that will suit your business!
You sit back and relax while you watch a beautiful slideshow of the images captured at your session, which we'll then go through one by one to select the images you love most!
Once your images have been chosen, if you've upgraded your package or chosen any additional products you'll receive an email invoice which is payable at your design session. There is Credit Card, AfterPay, ZipPay via BPAY, Bank Transfer or cash available.
Once paid, or if you're happy with your first chosen package, your images will be uploaded to a private gallery and the link sent to you within 24 hours. Any products that you've purchased will be ordered from there and ready for pickup within 3-4 weeks. You'll receive a phone call once these arrive back and are ready for pickup!
Step five: Tag Tag Tag
Once you have your beautiful images and you're sharing the S**t out of them on all social platforms... don't forget to tag Olive Tree Photography! I love to see my beautiful images out there and being appreciated! It truly warms my heart!
